When little Bug came into our care, both of his eyes were in terrible condition. The photos from that day are difficult to look at. We can only imagine how uncomfortable and frightening life had become for him, trying to survive alone outside.
He received the veterinary care he desperately needed, but his eyes could not be saved. He underwent surgery to remove both of them to save his life, and today he is blind.
But blind does not mean helpless. He's learning to navigate his world differently, and discovering that there are hands that bring comfort, soft places to rest, regular meals, and people looking out for him.
He lost his eyes. He didn't lose his future. And apparently nobody told him he's supposed to slow down! This little guy is zooming around the house and playing like any other kitten his age.
His condition was treatable, but expensive. The veterinary care and surgery that gave him the chance to live are exactly what your donations made possible.
Every gift, no matter the amount, helps us give cats like Bug the future they deserve.
