I'm staying with the rescue furever!

Hi there, Maria Hill here. I was rescued from the swamp where it was really hard to find enough food for all 9 of us. I really love being indoors and all the yummy food that comes with it, but I am a shy girl. It will take some time for me to adjust in a new environment. I would do best in a quiet home with a non dominant kitty. I need a special diet because one time I got this shot and went into diabetes. Foster Mama got me regulated with high quality low carb commercial cat food. I no longer need any glucose monitoring or insulin. The vet feels that if I keep my diet the same and don't ever get that shot again I will be good. I had a bum hip and had surgery to fix it. I have recovered well, but don't jump so well. I have these things that help me get on the couch, foster mama says they are called stairs, whatever those are. I'll need a special home that will have lots of patience and be able to keep up with my diet and annual check ups. Instagram:@thecatshire
