Meet Lucile De-Bough, or Lucy for short, a sweet girl who is a true survivor! After finishing her duties as a mama cat, this brave kitty recently went on an unexpected six-week outdoor adventure. While it was a tough time, she has beautifully recovered, is doing wonderfully health-wise, and is so happy to be safe inside getting all the snuggles she wants. Most of the time, she is an incredibly sweet purr machine who loves to play and even loves receiving gentle pets while she eats her meals.
Lucy is a loving and loyal kitty that wants all of your attention to herself. Because she gets scared by other cats and does not want to share, she has strict adoption requirements: she must be the only pet in the house and must go to a home with no small children. She is looking for a patient adopter who understands feline body language and can help her continue to improve her manners. Sometimes she can get overstimulated by people, too much play, or late at night, and if her ears flatten, she might try to give a gentle scrape with her teeth. However, she has made dramatic progress and is getting much better! She just needs to learn that play means being gentle. This special little girl is looking for a forever family that will love her and only her, and she will surely reward your patience with a lifetime of purrs.
