I'm ready for my new family!

Hi, I’m James. I’m one year old, and I didn’t exactly start life on easy mode. I was out there doing the whole “street cat” thing until a really nice lady picked me up to get me neutered. She didn’t expect much from me…but surprise—I turned out to be sweet as candy. When I came back from the vet, she realized I wasn’t meant for the big, scary outdoors. I was meant for soft couches, warm laps, and a home where I feel safe. So now I’m looking for my forever family. I love laps—if you sit down, I’ll be right there. Chin scratches are my favorite, and I’ll happily keep you company and watch everything you do. While I adapt to nice people quickly, I need more time to adjust to other pets. I was bullied before, so I can be scared of other animals. But if you give me some time and patience, I will be just fine. I’m just a sweet, affectionate guy ready to leave the street life behind and finally be someone’s cat. Maybe I can be yours?
