Lady Slipper

Special Needs: Medical Condition
My name is Lady Slipper, I am named after the rare but gorgeous wild flower that grows in the northern woods. My black shiny coat is gorgeous, so shiny it looks blue. I have a rare condition called Feline eosinophilic granuloma complex, also referred to as rodent ulcers. It is a cutaneous reaction pattern in cats that affect the muco-cutaneous junction of the oral cavity. Most indolent ulcers occur on the upper lip near the philtrum or adjacent to the upper canine teeth. I get the ulcers on my face too, but I have special meds to make it all better. I spend my days playing and lounging in the sun on my foster mom's catio. My love for plants is huge! I am a little timid at first but warm up quickly once I warm up to people and would do well with a doting human. I have never met a child so I would be more comfortable in a home with human children that are a little bit older. Please give me a chance. Check out my foster mommy's Instagram at turtlecatfoster for more pics of me!
