Meet Dexter – A Gentle Giant Looking for a Peaceful Home Dexter is a handsome Maine Coon (or mix) with a big presence and an even bigger heart. He is very photogenic with beautiful green eyes with a natural eyeliner. He is 14 years young and 21 pounds, he’s a senior cat who still has plenty of playful energy and curiosity. He loves interactive play—especially chasing a laser light, batting golf balls across the floor, and exploring boxes or paper bags. Dexter is also very observant and will happily keep your home bug-free. Dexter has lived in a quiet, adult-only home and would do best in a similar environment. He is not comfortable with children or other pets, so he’s looking to be your one and only companion. He enjoys attention on his own terms and will come sit by your feet when he’s ready for affection—especially if it includes brushing his thick coat (a must for this fluffy boy). He has a soft, unique chirping purr, but he’s not a lap cat and values his independence.
